> A reference site answering "how old is [generation]?" for every documented American generation. One page per generation with birth years, current ages (computed 2026-08-08 and rebuilt daily), famous members, defining events, cost-of-living comparisons, and FAQs. Every fact is verified against at least two sources, which are listed on each page; primary sources include Pew Research Center, the US Census Bureau, BLS, and FRED.

Birth-year definitions follow Pew Research Center where available. Current ages below are for 2026.

- The only US generation with an official government definition is the Baby Boom (US Census Bureau, born 1946–1964).
